چکیده
Many infertility clinics program ICSI directly in their IVF treatment plans due to the fear of failed or poor fertilization rates. A number still however perform conventional insemination. To aid patients who fail insemination, “rescue ICSI” is sometimes performed on oocytes that fertilize, allowing salvage cycle. This study analyzes pregnancy outcomes were able receive rescue ICSI; more specifically comparing success rates fresh embryo transfers versus frozen transfers. was a retrospective data analysis patient cases between April 2010 January 2020. During this time period, 307 performed. Rescue Day 1 only when insemination met following criteria: >5 mature eggs and <15% 18h after period 307/13915 (2.2%) had ICSI. Comparison of pregnancy rate between fresh embryo transfers and frozen-thawed embryo transfers following ICSI treatment
BACKGROUND The use of assisted reproductive technology (ART) is increasing in the world. The rate, efficacy and safety of ART are very different among countries. There is an increase in the use of intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), single fresh embryo transfer (ET) and frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET). OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to compare pregnancy rate in fresh ET a...

متن کاملSingle Day 2 embryo versus blastocyst-stage transfer: a prospective study integrating fresh and frozen embryo transfers.
BACKGROUND Whether extended culture allowing selection of embryos with high development potential has any advantage over cleavage-stage embryo transfer remains a matter of debate. Among the currently unsolved questions, the cumulative delivery rate resulting from fresh and frozen embryo transfers needs to be taken into account in both strategies. The aim of our study was, therefore, to compare ...
متن کاملOffice microlaparoscopic intrafallopian transfer of day one zygote versus day three embryo transfer after previous failed ICSI trials.
The objective of the study was to investigate whether transferring zygotes on day 1 would result in similar pregnancy rates compared to transferring cleavage stage embryos on day 3 in a prospective randomized trial, using the office microlaparoscopic procedure. Patients undergoing IVF/ICSI treatments were randomized to either day 1 or day 3 transfers after previous failed ICSI trials due to fai...
